Philip Pullman was a good pupil and had a excellent education. At the age of 25 he became a teacher at Oxford middle school. He worked there until 1986 as then he went somewhere else to teach on the bed course. He kept education and left his teaching job and decided to become a writer for different ages. He is still a writer now and he still enjoys himself when he is writing for us to read his books. When he is not writing he is often enjoying doing his hobbies that we told you about on the hobbies page. He loves his job and is very good at his job as well. This is what he would have said to his students I am so proud of myself so I am quiting teaching so I can become a writer my name will be in lights and I will be famous soon he might of said that but we are not that sure.

This is a picture of Philip Pullman in his study ready to write a book for us to read.
